Welcome to The Lansdowne Hotel, situated in the prime location of Hastings seafront. With 28 rooms, many boasting views across the sea, you'll enjoy your stay whether it's for business or purely for pleasure. Because of our fantastic location, you're never far from something to do, with the famous Old Town of Hastings only a short stroll down the seafront. Of course, Hastings town centre is just a few minutes away where you can find a whole host of shops and activities. The mainline railway station is also only a short walk away so if you feel like sampling the outskirts, it's easy.

PLEASE NOTE THIS HOTEL HAS CHANGED MANAGEMENT. 

Since taking over in June 2010 we have made many changes i.e. all the beds has been changed with memory foam mattresses, there is WI-FI in 90% of the rooms. We have put all new linen, new pillows, duvets, net curtains and flat screen televisions in all rooms. We have improved the lounge area with draught beer on tap and free internet for our guests as well as new sofas.

As you can appreciate there is a limited amount we can do in peak season. We intend to carry out some of the major works in winter when we will close off the top floor and do a total refurb on this floor. We will put in new windows, shower rooms, ceilings, carpets and all new fixtures and fittings. We hope to do at least one or possibly two floors this way while keeping disruption to a minimum.
